Who is A strength Athlete?

We are ALL strength athletes. Whether it is to build enough strength to get up a flight of stairs, walk a mile, or lift 500lbs, we ALL have the ability to become more resilient and stronger versions of ourselves through proficient execution of physical exercise.


Pain, rehabilitation, and fitness exist together on a spectrum. Through a combination of physical therapy and strength and conditioning principles, you will learn how to manage your pain, rehabilitate your injuries, and become a stronger, more resilient version of yourself.

Why Should I care about getting stronger?

The ability to become a stronger person both physically and mentally allows us to tackle all forms of pressure that life throws at us. The stronger one is, the more resilient we are to all of those struggles. We need physical strength to allow us to maximize our enjoyment of daily activities: standing up from a chair, getting out of bed, picking up our groceries, or spending time with our loved ones. In turn, the development of strength allows us to have a robust mental fortitude of trust in our body to carry ourselves throughout the day and perform all of our daily activities with excellence.

Physical Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist

I am a Physical Therapist who provides a unique blend of Orthopedic Physical Therapy knowledge and Strength & Conditioning experience to ensure you get back to peak performance with as little restrictions as possible.


I grew up in the East Bay and played a variety of sports throughout high school and college including: basketball, football, track and field, and Judo. 

I have been competing in Powerlifting since 2017 in the 165lb (75kg) weight class. 

My best lifts include:

Squat - 405lbs

Bench - 305lbs

Deadlift - 525lbs


  • Graduate of the Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy at UCSF/SFSU

  • Graduate of the Kaiser NorCal Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency 


  • Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy 

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
